I Miss Affinity Publisher
Thats the whole post. I miss how simple Affinity Publisher was. I know Affinity is still around but I'm highly skeptical about their new "all-in-one" design philosophy. The early days of Affinity coming for Adobes crown with quality software in each niche was the best. They really showed how obtuse the design philosophy was behind a lot of decisions made by Adobe. As a broke teenager who had to pick and choose expenses, paying $50 for a piece of well made (and straight forward) software got me on my zine making journey and literally changed my life. Indesign sucks, I miss Affinity Publisher.
